Anatomy of a Project

In 2016, TIME began telling the story of newborn baby Heln and her family, who are Syrian refugees seeking asylum in Europe – following their journey for the next 2 years. In this workshop, TIME’s videographer Francesca Trianni will present her work on the refugee crisis. Deconstructing how the TIME team used social media and an award winning powerful interactive to cover this story in a new, compelling way – offering real world tips and solutions on how to create and disseminate in-depth stories on multiple platforms.
