Kara Milstein

Kara Milstein is a New York-based photo editor at TIME. She commissions and edits photography for print, digital and social platforms, with a focus on national news, long-term projects and portraiture.

Visual stories and multimedia projects she has worked on while at TIME have been recognized by ASME, SPD, Emmy awards and World Press Photo.

Kara has held positions at Aperture Foundation, the World Photography Organisation and the Barnes Foundation and holds a B.A. in communication studies from Temple University.
