Bryan Woolston
Bryan Woolston serves as the Executive Director of Crisis Ready Media. He has also spent the past 10 years as a photojournalist, covering news, sports, and politics for agencies including The Associated Press, Reuters News, and Getty Images. A strong advocate for press freedom, Bryan is deeply committed to promoting the safety and security of his colleagues. His background includes twenty years in the United States military, serving in combat and technical advisory roles within the US Army, joint service commands, and a variety of other governmental agencies. His service included mitigating hazards related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear materials and their related explosive threats. He concluded his military service as an EOD team leader with assignment to the United States Secret Service in Washington, DC. Beyond his military and journalism careers, Bryan is a trained firefighter and hazardous materials technician. He is also an Emergency Medical Technician trained in prehospital trauma life support and mass casualty incident response. His decade of journalism experience, blended with his military and emergency management expertise, combine well to advance the mission of Crisis Ready Media.
