Anna Moneymaker
Anna Moneymaker is a Getty Images staff photographer in Washington, DC. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, she received her bachelor’s degree from American University in 2018, with a major in film in media arts and a minor in international studies. In the months following her graduation, Moneymaker shot for the newspaper The Hill. Following her time at The Hill she had an internship on the multimedia desk for Agence France Press, pairing photos and videos with stories and sharing the work on the wire’s social media outlets. From July 2019 until June 2020 she covered Capitol Hill and the White House as a photojournalist intern for The New York Times. In May of 2021, she joined Getty Images. While at Getty Images her work centers on many notable subjects that surround politics, the arts, and the humanities in the United States.
