Audio is For Lovers
The driveway moment is public radio’s bread and butter. The audio story is so arresting, that you simply can’t get out of your car when you get home. (Mass transit translation: Missing your bus/train stop because you’re immersed in a story). But how do you get from idea to a product of that quality and intimacy? In this workshop, WHRO Public Media news director Rebecca Feldhaus Adams will go through techniques to get great audio interviews, use active tape as sound scoring and stick the landing on a piece you’ve worked hard on. This workshop will include lots of examples from radio and podcasts, tips and tricks to get your best interviews and advice on how to get the natural sound you need to make your piece sing.
