Brent Lewis

Brent Lewis is a photo editor based out of New York City, a co-founder of Diversify Photo, and from the greatest city in the world – Chicago – South Side to be exact.

Brent currently works as a photo editor at The New York Times, where he focuses on the Home Page and breaking news desk. Previously, Brent served as a Photo Editor at The Washington Post and as the Senior Photo Editor at ESPN’s The Undefeated. At ESPN, he played a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of the website, which revolves around the intersection of sports, race, and culture.

Before transitioning to photo editing, Brent worked as a staff photojournalist at The Denver Post, The Rockford Register Star, and the Chillicothe Gazette. Throughout his career, his photographs have been featured in various publications including the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, Forbes, and Yahoo! News.
