Shira Stoll

Shira Stoll is a New York Emmy award winning video producer and journalist based in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently a digital video producer for NBC10 Boston and New England Cable Network.
Stoll was previously a staff multimedia specialist at the Staten Island Advance working on short documentaries and feature stories. She spent two years sharing the stories of Holocaust survivors on Staten Island.
She holds a master’s degree in Photography with a focus in video journalism and a bachelor’s degree in Photo Illustration, both from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She also was a student at the Eddie Adams Workshop XXVIII.
Stoll was awarded a 2019 New York Emmy for Where Life Leads You: Stories of Staten Island’s Holocaust survivors and was nominated for a 2018 New York Emmy for God’s Plan: College Football Recruit Amad Anderson’s Inspiring Story. She also received a New York Publishers Association Distinguished Investigative Reporting Award of Excellence for The Untreated, a team series about mental illness on Staten Island and an Honorable Mention by NPPA Northern Short Course in 2018 for her project Artie’s by the Sea.
